I lost all my previous blog contents in late 2009 due to database mismanagement while trying to install Expression Engine 2.0 beta. I then switched to WordPress, starting all over again from scratch.
Instead of posting blog entries as a journal kept in chronological order, I intend to maintain the blog this year as collection of various subject, updating each entry continuously as my understanding of the subject progresses and deepens over time.
An example would be “Books in 2010″, which I will keep adding to each time I finish reading a book throughout the year.
This approach would inevitably make each entry longer than usual and even make it confusing to follow because readers cannot be sure if any of the past blog entries has been updated.
At least, this is an experimental approach. I would appreciate your feedback.
