I was visiting McAllen, TX during the week of April 2-8, 2017. The photos above were taken from my quick visit to Quinta Mazatlan on a Saturday morning.
Quinta Mazatlan is a historical Adobe mansion and nature and birding center located in McAllen, Texas. According to the history section of their homepage, the word “Quinta” in Spanish translates to a country house, villa or estate, and the word “Mazatlan” has an ancient Indian translation in Mexico meaning “Land of the Deer”.
